The MNRB Scholarship Fund was established by MNRB Holdings Berhad in 1 April 1998 with an objective to assist in the development of the nation’s insurance and takaful industries by enabling promising students to have access to quality education, in order to produce quality insurance and takaful professionals for the long term development of the Malaysian insurance and takaful industries.
Since then, the Fund has awarded to more than 700 bright Malaysians from all races to pursue selected courses related to the Insurance and Takaful industry.The Fund, in collaboration with the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII), also awards scholarships to employees of the local insurance industry to pursue part-time studies for the Associateship of the Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII) Level 1, and the Associateship of the Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII) Level 2 certifications at MII.

**Candidates with TRIAL SPM RESULTS meeting the above criteria are encouraged to apply. Selected candidates will be offered a provisional scholarship subject to the variance between the actual results and the trial results being within an acceptable range.
Additional Criteria
The scholarship is open to SPM leavers and students pursuing or intending to pursue Foundation and Undergraduate (Bachelor’s Degree) studies at local universities or selected private universities with twinning programmes.

Applicants who have been shortlisted will receive notification to proceed to the next stage of application.

Online Assessment
To assess candidates’ cognitive abilities focusing on problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Candidate will require an internet access to complete the assessment.
Assessment
Face-to-face interview
To measure candidates’ interpersonal and leadership skills.
